Kroger trip 4/14 – $27.07 OOP

I went to Kroger this morning, a little apprehensive, b/c usually when I bring my husband along, we end up spending WAY more than I intended to. Lol. But this ended up being a pretty successful trip! I found quote a few things on Manager’s Special. Here is the breakdown of my trip.

I got:

  • 10 – Maruchan Yakisoba noodles – $1.39 ea.
  • 6 – Banquet pot pies – $.87 ea.
  • 1 – Deli Mac&Cheese – $3.99
  • 1 – Banquet breakfast sausage patties – $1.59
  • 2 – Banquet fruit pies – $.79 ea.
  • 1 – Dawn dish liquid – $3.04
  • 1 – Crest 3D white toothpaste – $4.89
  • 1 – Colgate Vivid White toothpaste – $4.99
  • 1 – Dove deodorant – $3.49
  • 1 – Banquet turkey dinner – $3.29
  • 1 – Gallon of milk – $2.77
  • 1 – Honeysuckle turkey sausage – $1.99 (Manager’s Special. Was $5.84!)
  • 1 – Kroger ground turkey – $1.69 (Manager’s Special. Was $3.64!)
  • 1 – Seasoned chicken leg quarters – $4.83 (Manager’s Special. Was $6.05!)
  • 1 – Bugles-chocolate peanut butter – $1.11 (Manager’s Special. Was $3.34!)

Coupons used:

  • 10 – $.50/1 Maruchan Yakisoba product
  • 1 – $.60/6 Banquet pot pies
  • 1 – $.40/1 Kroger Mac&Cheese
  • 1 – $.25/1 Banquet breakfast sausage patties
  • 1 – $.40/2 Banquet fruit pies
  • 1 – FREE Dawn dish liquid (Kroger store coupon)
  • 1 – FREE Crest toothpaste (Kroger store coupon)
  • 1 – FREE Colgate toothpaste (Kroger store coupon)
  • 1 – FREE Dove deodorant (Kroger store coupon)
  • 1 – $.75/1 Banquet family dinner

Total before sales and coupons: $69.60

Total after sales and coupons: $27.01. A 61% savings! That’s pretty darn good, especially with how much meat I got in this trip.

If your store doesn’t double, your total would have been: $33.98. That’s still a 51% savings! :)
